Puppy Love

This is another project using the KTMH special. It is a 9x9 memory box. I'm very proud of it. Upper left detail.

This is the bottom right corner detail.

This is the top of my memory box. I will keep my door prizes/give aways in it for parties & workshops.

Ohh, this is Brekyn's new baby, Pedro with my baby, Jose. Aren't they precious?!?

I Don't Mop!

Wow! I really love the new CTMH stamps featured in the new Idea Book! Isn't this chicky chick too cute! I would normally use brighter colors, but I love the way she blends with the new Emporium paper. This one is super simple and will be one of the cards we make on Friday. The stamp set is Ms. On the Go & the inside says... not to MOP! So very ME! Below is more artwork from CTMH using the Emporium paper. The colors are Buttercup, Cocoa, Crystal Blue & Sweet Leaf. Very soothing I think.
I probably won't post anymore this week for the Open House. You'll just have to come see it in person!
LOL!

Tres Hearts

Another Sneak Peek:
I used the Key to My Heart paper & stamps. They are this months special from CTMH. You can read more about this special offer a few posts down. I also used the new StaysOn Ink in Timber Brown. This is the first time for CTMH to offer StaysOn in a color other than Black. I know the flourish looks black on this scan, but it is really brown. Other colors are Creme Brulee, Juniper, and Sorbet. I really like this vintage look.

Thanks for stopping by!

Mistress of Christmas

Oh, this card gave me fits! I just couldn't get it to act like I wanted it to. Still not sure I like it. I used Penny Black's Christmas Fairy stamp, the Paper Studio's Christmas Tree Polka & ric rac ribbon, CB Ornaments Embossing Folder and some crystal flower brads. I also used my CTMH CS & ink, and my Copic Markers. The sketch is from iheart2stamp.com Saturday Sketch for You to Try.
Hope you like it!

Christmas Cardinals

Still working on Christmas cards. I'm not making much progress. UGG! :O This is the inside of the first card. The card is 6x6.
This one is 5x7.

I wanted to get away from the whimsical cards I have been making lately and try something a little more classy. I really like this stamp set from CTMH called Take Flight. I used Basic Grey's Wassail paper and the 2 red buttons are from this coordinating group, also. I really like the way the black looks as an accent color.
I love cardinals. They remind me of both of my grandmothers, but mostly of Mama Dippy who died about 13 years ago. She loved cardinals and hummingbirds. I always got her a wild bird calendar for Christmas. I really MISS her!

Smooches!!

Just one card for tonight. Brek had a BB game this evening so I didn't have much time for card making. This image is another Penny Black stamp! It is called "Kiss Me". I cut her dress from some patterned paper I had. I really piled the Stickles on and added some clear glitter on the fur of her dress. Again, I used the white glitter paper. I really like the look of it for Christmas and winter. I used 2 different snowflake punches with this same paper.

Have a great Day!

One More Before Bed...

Well, I put this one together real quick this evening. I didn't add much to it because I thought it looked okay with out any embellishments. I used white glitter cardstock as the base and under the brown oval. It doesn't show up very well in the scan, but is very cute in person. This stamp is from the Christmas Critters set from Penny Black. I also used the CB Christmas Ornaments Embossing Folder.

Tis the Season

Well, I'm back with more Christmas cards. I am totally getting into the mood for the holidays. Roe and I were at Wal~mart Friday morning at 6 AM! We got everything we were after. Since we waited awhile and weren't there at 5AM, it didn't seem quite as crazy. We shopped around town until about 10AM, then came on home. We munched on leftover Thanksgiving sweets, then went back to bed for a couple of hours. Today, Roe and the kids are putting lights on the house. The tree went up last night. Now... the wrapping! Ugg!
Don't you just love this little snail? I hate slugs! (bad experience from the past), but thought this stamp from Penny Black was adorable. He is just simply called Christmas Snail. I used Red Stickles on the dots on his back and Silver Stickles on his hat.
My little kitty friend is from Penny Black's Christmas Critters Clear Stamps. He looks like he may have just eaten a mouse. I also used this week's sfytt from iheart2stamp.com on both cards.
Enjoy!

Owl is Bright

How cute is this little guy from Penny Black? I love this image. He was very fun to work with. Brekyn and I both love owls, so we are beginning to establish quite a collection! I hope you like him as much as I do. Check back for more Christmas cards later.

Thanksgiving Cards

Happy Thanksgiving! I know its been a while since I posted. I've been busy with life! I made these cards for my close family and just wanted to share them. I used many sketch challenges found on blogs and SCS and a variety of papers and stamps. You can also see my gallery on SCS for more information on each card. I hope you enjoy these!

Much to my my husband's disappointment, I have been gathering supplies (paper, stamps, embellishments) for several weeks to make my Christmas cards and crafts. So, check back every so often to see the results of my new goodies!
Thanks for looking.

Count Your Blessings!

As usual, I have used Jen's SFYTT (iheart2stamp.com). For this first card I made the card vertical. I think this stamp set is so elegant.
Stamps: CTMH's Harvest Memories, November Word Puzzle and SU's Fall Harves Wheel.
Paper & Colors: cocoa, sweet leaf, autumn terracotta, colonial white.
And Cuttle Bug's Pumpkin Harvest Embossing Folder

This next card uses the same sketch turned horizontally. I can't remember where I found these wonderful little crystal flowers. I like to use them to make my simple cards look gawdy! I used the same accessories on both cards except, the teddy bear stamp is from TAC. I cut out the pumpkins in some old CTMH B&T. I think they are so cute.

Hope you enjoy today's post! PLease leave a comment if you did!

Playing Catch Up

Well, It's been a while since I posted. I have been making cards and getting ready for my November Hostess Club Workshop. I've posted most of these on the SCS website. A lot of my ideas come from there and the CTMH BB.
THis first picture is a mini 3x3 box for Christmas tags. The stamp set is Mery Pursuits and the paper is CTMH's Evensong. This sketch is from Jen Del Muro's SFYTT. I Found this cutie patootie owl on the SCS website. His head is made from a label punch and his arms are cut from my small Nestabilities using my Big Kick. I also used Autumn Type CB embossing folder and Pumpkin #4 sizzlet. He's got a little bit of Stickles on his wings, but I messed up the original owl when I layed the card on the scanner. The Stickles smeared everywhere. The original had Stickles on the ears and on his belly. Had to toss it. :(

This is Fancy Fold Christmas Tree for the Hostess Club Workshop. It is very cool and 3-D. Not too hard to make, though I wouldn't want to make a bunch of them.

Here is another Fancy Fold Card with an evening Dress. I used stickles on the top. I think it looks pretty enough to wear.

Ohhh, Charlie Horse! I love you. He is from Clear Dollar Stamps and there are several more Charlie designs to chose from. The paper is CTMH's Sarsparilla. Perfect for this stamp. Sketch design by Jen Del Muro at iheart2stamp.com

Finally, this is a Bag~A~Lope! Funny name, but a cute sack made from an envelope. I think this stamp set is very elegant looking. It is ctmh's Vintage Christmas.

Well, I hope you enjoyed all of my little projects. I enjoyed making them.

Critter Party SFYTT

Tomorrow I will be working on my November Hostess Club projects. I found some fun ideas tonight on the web.
Just one card tonight. I'm feeling tired and sleepy today, but wanted to give this card a try. I made it for my MIL's birthday. She collects mice at Christmas time, so maybe she will like this one.

This is of course from Jen's (iheart2stamp.com) Saturday Sketch for You To Try.

The Paper is from Scenic Route Paper Company

Stamps are Penny Black ~ Critter Party

I used my SU scalloped punch for the scallops on the light blue paper

& my Nestabilities for the scalloped circles.

Not sure where the flowers and crystal brads came from. Probably Oriental Trading.

Enjoy!

Charlie, Froggies and a Few Good Memories

Oh Charlie Autumn! Isn't he a cutie? He looks like he's having so much fun playing in the leaves. I made this card last night for Jen's (iheart3stamp.com) sketch challenge. I had such a busy weekend, this was the first night I've had to stamp. Charlie is from Clear Dollar Stamps.
The second image is from Penny Black and is called "Green Line". I just love froggies! I collect them and they have almost taken over my "Scrap Pad"! So, I was soo excited when I finally got to use this stamp. The paper on both cards is SU's Haiku. I like it as a nontraditional fall color combination.
Well, just a little bit about my weekend. My cousin (who was born when I was in college..Uggg! I'm getting old) got married this weekend. We had family in from all over. Her dad and my dad are the only family members still living in the Altus area. There are 5 siblings. All of the siblings and their children live elsewhere. So we had people from each coast here. It was a great family reunion. I was able to see one of my cousins that is my age for the first time in about 10 years. Everyone is growing up so fast. Especially the "Big Cousins". We are now all pushing 40. That seems so strange to say. In my mind I'm still a little kid playing on the farm or water skiing from dusk til dawn with Mama Dippy. Anyway, seeing everyone brings back good memories, but also makes me sad for the ones who are no longer with us.

My Bellas are here!

Happy Birthday, Sista! I the card I made for Jen Del Muro's sketch challenge. I know I didn't spell "Sistah" correctly on the card, but the /h/ wouldn't fit. I actually used two Bella stamps for this card...Huggybellas & prezzibella. The paper is form TAC and is called Bella Flor. Hey! What a coinkidink. LOL
You can see Jen's sketch and her card on iheart2stamp.com

Oh yeah, I wanted to tell you about the heart cut out. My cuttlebug friend( Deneise ) told me about this technique. You can brayer your embossing folder, then use it like you normally would. The ink will only transfer to the embossed shape. The rest of the paper will be white, or what ever color you use. Then I just cut the heart out with my scissors. Cool huh?
The next card is also made with Bella Flor Paper. I had so much fun making this card. My friend let me borrow her Cuttlebug Embossing folders. They are so much fun! I don't know the names of these folder. Can you beleive the company does not label their folder? I sure with they would.
Anyway, This Bella stamp is called Cuppacakeabella. I love their names! LOL
I used liquid applique and glitter on the cupcake along with a Bella Bauble for the cherry on top. Too stinkin cute! I made this card to give to my grandmother for her birthday next Saturday. She will be 75 and acts like the girl on the cupcake. I hope I look and act as good as Granny when I am 75!
Hope you enjoy my cards!

Gate Fold Card

OOO, I am so excited! I just received my Bellas in the mail. I haven't made a card with them yet because the liquid applique on my cupcake is drying. I will put together cards tomorrow. Ordered some bling and ribbon to go with the Bellas and I love it! A very exciting day!
I made this card for my friend Nancy. Her father past away last night. I used the gate fold cards that I ordered from Stampin Bella. I used the Cuttle Bug Paisley embossing folder for the flaps. The colors are lilac mist and sweet leaf. The stamp set is SU's Always. I think it turned out pretty. I love this bird.
Happy Stamping!

Three Cards from one SFYTT

OKay! Okay! I am frustrated. I meant to post these pics at the bottom of the post, but now I can't move them or erase them. Uggg!
Anyway, These are pics of my silly family! Shelby is the one on top. This is his Zoolander look.

This is Caleb before we waxed his unabrow!
And this is the kids on the first day of school. Oh, It's going to be a long year!
This last one is Daniel. He is best friends with the boys. Why all the cool hair dos? I told them I didn't like their hair in their eyes and they all needed a hair cut. Well, they didn't want hair cuts, but they did let me get their bangs out of their eyes. Then, I went around the table waxing eyebrows and hairy facial moles! OOg. I love these boys. They are so much fun!
First of all, I need to apologize to Jen Del Muro. I posted her blog address last week incorrectly. :( The correct site is: iheart2stamp.com. It's a really great site and you should check it out! Today, I made three cards using Jen's sketch challenge. The first one is this cute turtle form Inkadinkadoo. They have the cutest silly stamps. I also used paper from my scrap box. It is old CTMH.
Card #2 I'm not really crazy about. Just couldn't get it to come together. However, it is CTMH's Stamp Of the Month and chocolate, lilac mist and sweet leaf paper.
This last one, I used Stampin Up's Always set. I really like the look of this stamp set. The colors are chocolate, sweet leaf and lilac mist again. These are CTMH colors.
Sorry this one didn't scan too good. the sentiment says "always on my mind- forever in my heart.
Thanks for looking at my crazy, mixed up post!
